The Smart Molecular Optoelectronic Devices Team at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, is dedicated to the development and application of novel biosensing technologies based on Organic Electrochemical Transistors (OECTs). The team leader, Professor Ma Wei, is a Distinguished Professor under the Ministry of Education's Talent Program, a recipient of the Overseas High-Level Young Talents award, a member of the Shaanxi Province Long-term Innovation Hundred Talents Plan, and a China Young Scientific and Technological Rising Star. He has been consecutively listed as a Clarivate Global Highly Cited Researcher for eight years (2018-2025). Currently, he leads and participates in several national-level research projects. The team has achieved a series of influential research outcomes in OECT-based biosensing and possesses strong technological reserves. To advance the practical application of relevant achievements, we are now publicly recruiting two Research Assistant staff members through a labor dispatch arrangement. The job responsibilities, application requirements, salary, work location, and application method are as follows:
I. Open Position 1: Biology-Oriented (1 person)
Responsible for investigating key biosensing needs in the medical and health fields, and designing sensing solutions based on the team's existing research foundation.
Responsible for the fabrication and performance optimization of electrochemical transistor biosensors.
Responsible for interfacing with back-end testing circuit modules to realize biosensing systems capable of rapid and accurate testing.
II. Open Position 2: Electronics-Oriented (1 person)
Responsible for the design, simulation, and debugging of small-scale PCB testing circuits, and their integration with front-end biosensors.
Responsible for the development of chip testing systems based on FPGA/ARM, with proficiency in Verilog language.
Responsible for the prototyping, manufacturing, and debugging of the entire biosensing system.
III. Application Requirements
(Position 1) Master's degree or higher in Biology, Medicine, Materials Science, or related fields. Candidates with research experience in biosensors, specific recognition of biomarkers, pathogen detection, or organic semiconductor devices are preferred.
(Position 2) Master's degree or higher in Electronics, Communications, Automation, or related fields. Candidates with experience in PCB design or FPGA development are preferred.
Possess a strong interest in scientific research, strong problem-solving skills, good communication and expression capabilities, a strong sense of teamwork, good physical and mental health, integrity, and a responsible and conscientious attitude.
Generally not exceeding 30 years of age. This requirement may be relaxed appropriately for candidates with relevant work experience.
